What Happens If You Die Without A Will in Texas?

In Texas, when a person dies without a will an administrator must be appointed by the court in order to administer the estate and assumes the responsibility of compiling the deceased’s assets, paying any liabilities, and distributing the remaining assets to those deemed as beneficiaries.
